Abstract:
To provide a biocompatible surgical device made of heterogeneous yarn of dissimilar materials.
The surgical device includes at least one heterogeneous yarn defining a longitudinal axis and including a plurality of linear disposed polyester strands in close contact with a plurality of linear disposed polyolefin strands. The plurality of polyester strands and the plurality of polyolefin strands run parallel to each other and the longitudinal axis along the length of the yarn.
