Abstract:
To provide a high calorific value fuel gas production catalyst that produces a fuel gas containing methane, ethane, propane, and butane from a mixed gas containing hydrogen and at least one of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide at a relatively low temperature and a low reaction pressure.SOLUTION: A high calorific value fuel gas production catalyst in which ruthenium, iron, and zirconia are supported on activated alumina, and a method for producing high calorific value fuel gas in which a mixed gas containing hydrogen and at least one of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide is brought into contact with the catalyst to yield a gas containing methane, ethane, propane and butane, are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: None
