Abstract:
This invention relates to a method of preparing a highly concentrated, stable polyborate solution, characterized in that boric acid is reacted with an alkanolamine or an aliphatic polyamine or a mixture thereof in the ratio base to boric acid of 1 to more than 2 in order to give a boric acid concentration of over 30 g/100 ml when the solution has been made up to 100 ml with water.
