Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a highly crystalline ceramic product having an extremely highly crystalline cordierite phase and a production thereof.
CONSTITUTION: The high density cordierite ceramic product composed of a magnesium exchanged zeolite powder, which contains sodium less than about 0.5 wt.%, selected out of phillipsite, harmotome, gismondine, zeolite B, zeolite ZK-19 and zeolite W while having the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of practically from about 2.3 to 2.8 and the production thereof are provided.
