Title:
HIGH-FREQUENCY ACOUSTIC LIQUID JET RECORDING HEAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009078469
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a high-frequency acoustic liquid jet recording head configured so as to make a short-life jet part replaceable with respect to a long-life driving part by providing such a constitution that the driving part and the jet part are freely connected and disconnected to and from each other.

The superhigh-frequency generating part 25 of the driving part 12 supplies a superhigh-frequency voltage to a part between a common electrode 21 and an individual electrode 23 via a driving control part 24. A thin layer 22 to which the superhigh-frequency voltage is applied emits an ultrasonic wave and the ultrasonic wave is propagated through the base material B19 of the driving part 12, the second acoustic matching layer 18 of the jet part 11, a base material A17, and a first acoustic matching layer 16 and reaches a liquid chamber 15, to jet a droplet 26 from a nozzle hole 13. The driving part 12 and the jet part 11 are freely disconnectably connected to each other and the jet part 11 can be replaced with respect to the driving part 12, when unrecoverable failure such as severe clogging of the nozzle hole 13 occurs.
