PURPOSE: To simplify a cooking menu setting operation in response to an object of use or the frequency of use of a heating and cooking device by a method wherein an unnecessary cooking menu can be deleted or recovered from a cooking menu which can be set by a cooking menu selecting means.
CONSTITUTION: A menu deleting or recovering key 4 and a pulse switch 8 are connected to a control means 5. Then, a menu deleting and recovering means 8 of the control means 5 deletes or recovers an unnecessary cooking menu from a cooking menu which can be set by a cooking menu selecting means. Accordingly, a user can delete or recover a cooking menus which is scarcely used from many cooking menus which can be set while seeing a display of the cooking menu selected by the cooking menu selecting means by operating the pulse switch 8 and the menu deleting and recovering keys 4. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to simplify the cooking menu setting operation in response to an object of use or a frequent time of use of the device.
