Abstract:

To form a reactor excellent in high frequency iron loss, by constituting a wound core which constitutes an iron core of a silicon steel plate where Si concentration of a plate thickness direction surface layer is at least a specified % higher than that of a central layer.

A silicon steel plate having Si concentration gradient in the plate thickness direction is used as a wound core constituting an iron core. For a method giving Si concentration gradient in the plate thickness direction, a method performing thermal diffusion after Si paste is spread on the surface of an iron plate or a silicon steel plate, or the like is used. The Si concentration of a plate thickness direction surface layer is set at least 0.3% higher than that of a central layer, and difference is given between permeability of a surface layer part and that of a central part. The amount of Si of the surface layer of the steel plate is set about 6-7%. As a result, high frequency reactor excellent in resistivity to iron loss in high frequency, workability and saturation magnetic flux density, especially a low loss DC reactor of low noise is manufactured.
