PURPOSE: To improve dispersibility, mechanical and electrical characteristics by mixing surface quality improving particles obtained by processing at least one or two materials selected from inorganic and organic fillers by mechanical energy with a polymer matrix.
CONSTITUTION: As polymer matrix, thermoplastic, thermosetting resins may be employed, the former uses polyolefin resin, polyvinyl chloride resin, etc., and the latter uses phenyl resin, urea resin, etc. Inorganic and organic fillers include metal, ceramics, shell fiber, thermosetting resin powder, etc. This material has two modes, one of which is made of surface quality improving composite particles obtained by processing the polymer matrix and filler by mechanical energy, and the other of which is made by mixing the particles obtained by processing the filler with mechanical energy with the polymer matrix. A method utilizing the mechanical energy is, for example, a method of uniformly mixing, then pulverizing fillers to become mother and slave particles.
