Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a high-gloss, multi-layer and hollow vessel which is superior in surface gloss properties and has favorable moldability, by a method wherein a composition obtained by compounding with a specific plural propylene random copolymer is made into a surface layer and a multi-layer hollow vessel is formed by a direct blow molding method.
CONSTITUTION: A composition layer, which is comprised by compounding with a plural propylene random copolymer having 0.5-10wt.% α olefin contents having the crystalline melting point of 110-145°C, 3-10wt.% ethylene contents and at least 4C and having a melt flow rate of 2-20g/10min. is made into a surface layer and a high-gloss, multi-layer and hollow vessel is formed by a direct blow molding method. Then 15-0.01 pts.wt. straight-chain low density polyethylene and 4-0.01 pts.wt. low density polyethylene or 4-0.01 pts.wt. high density polyethylene are compounded respectively with the 100 pts.wt. above-mentioned plural propylene random copolymer and the high-gloss, multi-layer and hollow vessel is formed. With this construction, the hollow vessel which is superior in surface gloss properties and has favorable moldability is obtained.
