Abstract:
PURPOSE:To statically display the moving picture area only of an original image by selecting the detecting output of one inter-frame action detecting circuit in accordance with block data, and controlling a mixing ratio of the static picture signal obtained only from the video signal for one field and the static picture signal obtained by synthesizing the video signal for four fields. CONSTITUTION:In the vertical blanking period of a high grade TV signal, block data to show the presence and absence in respective blocks composed by dividing one screen into 528 are inserted. Since the block data from an auxiliary memory 8 come to be '0' at an animation area, a block control circuit 11 derives the output of a second action detecting circuit 10, namely, an action quantity, and consequently, a mixing circuit 14 is set to the action quantity, namely, the mixing ratio. The output signal of an inter-frame interpolating circuit 4 generated from the video signal for four fields and the output signal of an inter-field interpolating circuit 6 are mixed by the mixing ratio and the video signal for the still picture is generated.
