Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-impact rigid vinyl chloride tube excellent in impact resistance and tensile strength.
SOLUTION: This high-impact rigid vinyl chloride resin tube is obtd. by forming a vinyl chloride resin compsn. obtd. by polymerizing vinyl chloride alone or radical-polymerizable monomers including vinyl chloride as the main component in the presence of an acrylic copolymer. It has a Charpy impact strength (notched) at 23°C of 90 to 140kg.cm/cm2 and a tensile strength at 23°C of 447 to 600kg/cm2.
