PURPOSE: To increase a stable combustion range without shortening a flame or decreasing the temperature of the wall of a combustion chamber, by a method wherein a secondary air jet is fed at an angle with relation to the direction of the flow of air- fuelmixture in the shape of an arc.
CONSTITUTION: A part of the air for combustion fed from a combustion fan 9 enters into a mixing chamber 2, and is injected through a burner port 1 togetherwith the fuel. The remaining air for combustion falls down as a secondary air between an air outer chamber 4 and an air guide plate 12, turns at an opening 13 as shown by an arrow mark B, is raised between the air guide plate 12 and a secodary air plate 7, and may be supplied , as shown by an arrow mark C, through a secondary air port 8 at a wide angle with relation to the direction of the flow of air-fuel mixture in an arc shape. As noted above, the secondary air can be fed at a wide angle with relation to the direction of the flow of the air-fuel mixture in an arc shape, and this produces an effect in which a burner can be brought to a high load mode, a secondary air plate 7, being the wall of a combustion chamber 3, has a stable combustion range which is widened without cooling the plate by means of a water pipe, and double surrounding of the combustion chamber 3 with the secondary air plate 7, the air guide plate 12, and the air outer chamber 4 attaining improvement of safety.
