Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized base to connect a light emitting tube which is applied with a high voltage. SOLUTION: The base of the high voltage discharge lamp to which the light emitting tube is connected has the first insertion port 1 into which the first lead wire drawn out from the light emitting tube is inserted, the second insertion port 2 into which the second lead wire drawn out from the light emitting tube is inserted, and a protruding part 3 of the insulator between the first insertion port 1 and the second insertion part 2. In order to prevent discharge between the first lead wire and the second lead wire by having the protruding part 3, this base becomes capable of jointing light emitting tubes such as ceramic light emitting tubes to which a high pressure is applied.
