Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing high purity metal whose refining efficiency is further enhanced while solving a problem of segregation-refining method.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing high purity metal includes: putting, in a melting pot 1, molten metal 2 in which metal to be refined is melted; immersing a coolant 3 in the molten metal; and crystallizing high purity metal 5 on a surface of the coolant 3 while rotating either one of the coolant 3 and the melting pot 1.
