This high-purity pyrroline derivative of general formula (2) (R1 is a 1-8C alkyl group, a phenyl group or an aralkyl group) having ≤1 wt.% content of a pyrrole derivative of general formula (1) (R1 is a 1-8C alkyl group, a phenyl group or an aralkyl group) is stored in the absence of oxygen.
