Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and a system for facility protection of a digital remote communication system which monitors passage data and quickly performs automatic switching of hardware and software error states. CONSTITUTION: With respect to the facility protection method based on cross connection in a remote communication system where a facility is received from first and second redundant network lines by cross connections 20 and 22 in one of first and second input ports and is transmitted to a head output port H0 , a facility E1 received in the first input port is monitored for the purpose of detecting the error state; and in response to detection of the error state, the head output port H1 is connected to the second input port W1 for the purpose of receiving a facility.
