PURPOSE: To shorten the time of sorting goods by a method in which goods are automatically placed on a transport truck on the basis of information from a computer prior to the placement of goods, the transport truck is run with high speeds and then decelerated or stopped at a sorting zone, and goods are automatically unloaded.
CONSTITUTION: Goods G fed to a goods cellecting site A by truck, etc., are first placed one by one on a stock conveyer 4 and then transferred from the conveyer 4 to a conveyer 5, during which period goods are sorted by operator in an operator working portion 6 according to the memory of the computer, etc., connected to the operator working portion 6. Goods which reached the end of the conveyer 5 are placed on a linear motor car 2 controlled by a memory and waiting on a rail 1 and then fed with high speeds to a stored sorting chute. The car which reached the sorting position drops goods G onto the sorting chute 3 by inclining its loading base.
