Abstract:
To provide a topically applicable cosmetic or dermatological composition well suited for the UV-protection of the skin, hair or scalp, or the whole thereof.
This composition contains (a) an effective UV-protecting amount of at least one UV-A and/or UV-B sunscreen, and (b) an amount of a methyl methacrylate crosspolymer effective to, on application of the composition, reduce the greasiness/diffusion and improve the dryness thereof, formulated into (c) a topically applicable, cosmetically/dermatologically acceptable vehicle, diluent or carrier therefor.
