PURPOSE: To obtain a cast Ni alloy having superior corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and strength in a combustion atmosphere at high temp. by adding specified percentages of Cr, Fe, W, Mo and other elements to Ni.
CONSTITUTION: A cast Ni alloy having a composition consisting of 0.55W2.0% C, 10W28% Cr, 1W30% Fe, 0.1W9.0% W, 0.1W8.0% Mo, 0.01W4.5% Ti, 0.01W 4.5% Al and the balance Ni is used as a material for mechanical equipment used in a highly corrosive and oxidative atmosphere at high temp. formed by burning solid, liq. or gaseous fuel. To said composition may be added a specified amount of Si, Mn, N, Nb and/or Ta, B and/or Zr, or a mixture thereof. The Ni alloy has superior strength, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance in a combustion atmosphere at high temp.
