To provide a lubricating film which has high strength even if it is a thin film, and its manufacturing method.
This high-strength composite lubricating film comprises a composite lubricating film formed partly or wholly over the surface of a solid, and it consists of a self-organizing monomolecular film comprising an organic silane compound fixed on the surface of the solid and a flowable lubricant film.
