PURPOSE: To produce a high strength galvannealed steel sheet for deep drawing capable of preventing the peeling of plating film caused particularly by the increase in coating weight and the increase in strength.

CONSTITUTION: A cold rolled sheet of a steel having a composition containing ≤0.005% C, ≤0.5% Si, 0.15-1.5% Mn, ≤0.07% P, ≤0.03% S, ≤0.10% Al, ≤0.005% N, 0.0002-0.0050% B, 7.5×C(%) to 0.06% Nb, 0.003-0.030% Ti, and 0.1-1.5% Cr is subjected to galvanizing and Fe% in a plating layer is controlled to 5-15% by means of alloying treatment, by that the high strength hot-dip galvanized steel sheet minimal in the peeling of plating (powdering characteristic) due to working even in the case of thick coating can be obtained.
