Abstract:
To provide high strength yarns, and a method or a device for producing the high strength yarns.SOLUTION: This invention is related to a method of producing high strength yarns that includes a tensile force applying step of applying tensile force of 2.5 g/d or more and 10 g/d or less in a longitudinal direction of silkworm silk yarns and to high strength silk yarns that are produced by the method. This invention is also related to a tensile force applying device, etc. to be used in the method, the device including two or more rotation portions and a control unit that controls speeds of the rotation portions, in which at least one of the rotation portions rotates at the same speed as that of silkworm silk yarns.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
