Title:
HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER FOR TELEVISION RECEIVERS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3545128
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the danger of destroying the core constitution by beveling or round chamfering the ends of one core leg on the outside so that its contact region may be apart from the outside end edge of another core leg.
SOLUTION: A high voltage transformer for television receivers has a core 1 composed of two core halves 2 and 3 having two legs 2a and 3a which form wedge-like spaces with their ends and incline to contact mutually at the outside of their contact region. The end of the leg 3a is beveled or round chamfered at the outside or has a slant end so that the contact region may be apart from the outside edge of the leg 2a and its slant part 11 makes a large angle of 130 deg. with the end of the leg 3a. This ensures the end of the leg 3a contacts with the end surface of the leg 2a, without causing the end edge thereof, thus preventing the ferrite core from being damaged.
