Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition useful as a sound insulating wall of an acoustic room, a sound insulating partition for a building structure, a sound insulating material for a soundproof wall or the like of a vehicle and a vibration damping material, a soundproof material or the like.
SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by compounding (A) one or more base polymers each having a polar side chain (preferably a natural rubber, a polystyrene-based thermoplastic elastomer, a polyvinyl chloride or the like) with (B) a basic substance containing ≥2 bases selected from a primary amine, a tertiary amine and a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring in the molecule (preferably N-cyclohexylbenzothiazyl-2-sulfenamide or the like) and further compounding (C) an acidic substance good in compatibility with the basic substance (preferably 2-mercaptobenzothiazole or the like). The resultant composition has a compositional compounding in a higher basic region than the basicity for manifesting the peak value of loss tangent. The component B is preferably compounded in ≥0.3 volume ratio based on the component A.
