Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a all productivity processing speed inverter for all sheet sizes without a slide mechanism.
SOLUTION: A reversing roll nip 29 is opened and closed by a solenoid 39 in accordance with demands through sensors 30, 35. The reversing nip 29 is closed before a rear fringe of a first sheet comes out of an input nip 21, and a reversing roll nip idler 27 is closed in the forward direction before the rear fringe of the first sheet comes out of the input nip 21. The reversing roll nip 29 reverses the first sheet so as to move the first sheet to an output nip 23, and the reversing roll nip 29 is opened so as to overlap the first sheet which comes out on a second sheet which comes in when the first sheet is pulled out by the output nip 23. The reversing roll nip 29 is closed again to control the second sheet and reverse it.
