To provide a highly glossy paper container having specular glossiness of 70% or more at an incident angle 60°on a surface of an overcoat layer of a paper laminated material and small amount of evaporation of a solvent during lamination processing and designed to be produced in a method which does not worsen working environments by, for example, bad odor.
This highly glossy paper container is formed by lamination of a printed layer (2) and the overcoat layer (3) on one surface of a base material (1) composed of coated paper having a Beck smoothness of a surface of 300 seconds or more. The printed layer (2) is composed of acrylic resin based water-base ink which has water having alcohol content of < 5 wt% as solvent. The overcoat layer (3) is composed of aqueous coating agent which mainly has an acryl/resin mixture resin and water having alcohol content of < 20 wt% as solvent, or UV curing type aqueous coating agent which mainly has an acrylic resin monomer and contains water as viscosity regulator. The highly glossy container is formed of the paper laminated material having specular glossiness of 70% or more at the incident angle 60°on the surface of the overcoat layer (3).
