Abstract:
To provide a Hiki Cha (tea) processing apparatus in which, while increasing the processing amount per unit time, the unique aroma original to Hiki Cha can be obtained.SOLUTION: Provided is a Hiki Cha (tea) processing apparatus 41 for drying tea leaves transported by transportation means with hot wind blown from a hot wind flow path unit 46 to obtain Hiki Cha (tea), and in which a housing unit 44 has a closed space S formed by covering at least at the lateral sides and upper side with respect to the tea leave transport section B of a transport body 42 as well as irradiating means 47 capable of irradiating the tea leaves transported in the transport section B in said closed space S with infrared or far infrared is disposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
