Abstract:

To provide a hinge apparatus which can adjust a frictional force between a shaft inserting hole and a shaft portion.

The hinge apparatus for mounting a second member on a first member so as to relatively turn comprises a bearing block 3 which has a mounting portion 7 to the first member and the shaft inserting hole 13 and a slit 15 communicated with the shaft inserting hole 13, the shaft member 5 which has a mounting portion 23 to the second member and the shaft portion 11 rotatably inserted into the shaft inserting hole 13, and a fastening force adjusting member 17 for adjusting a fastening force of the shaft portion 11 by contracting the diameter of the shaft inserting hole 13. A flexible cylindrical member 25 is provided between the shaft portion 11 and the shaft inserting hole 13. The cylindrical member 25 has a slit 27 for easily contracting the diameter of the cylindrical member 25.
