To eliminate a screw in a hinge part of spectacles, reduce the number of protrusions, and obtain a suitable flounder.
A hinge mechanism for spectacles includes an wraparound endpiece part (10) and a temple part (20) formed from a metal plate punched and used in a perpendicular direction, where an end of one of the wraparound endpiece part (10) and the temple part (20) includes a cross type opening (21) for coupling. An end of another of the wraparound endpiece part (10) and the temple part (20) where the opening (21) is not formed includes a cylinder (12) in which a columnar through-hole (11) is formed in the perpendicular direction. The hinge mechanism further includes a combination shaft including a pin (30) including a fitting groove that fits into an upper side of the cross type opening (21) so as to fit into the columnar through-hole (11), a cylinder (33) with a lid including a fitting groove that fits into a bottom side of the cross type opening (21) so as to fit into the columnar through-hole (11), and a coil spring (40) between the pin (30) and the cylinder (33) for pressing and fixing the pin (30) and the cylinder (33) into the upper and bottom sides of the cross type opening (21). The temple part (20) includes a flounder about the combination shaft to be rotated to be opened and closed.
