PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully automatically calculate a locus of a hit ball flying by hitting force and to measure the hit ball information approximating to the face without manual operation. SOLUTION: This hit ball diagnosing device comprises a hitting speed detecting means for applying laser beams 6 to two points in the direction intersecting the passing direction of a hitting tool, and detecting a hitting speed of the hitting tool on the basis of a time when each laser beam is cut by the passage of the hitting tool, a stroboscopic lighting tool 3b capable of lighting a predetermined area in the ball advancing direction immediately after the hitting of a ball, a stroboscopic light emission setting means 9 for performing the stroboscopic light emission at a timing corresponding to the hitting speed, a camera device 3a for picking up an image of the ball at front and rear two points, a camera driving means 10 for allowing the camera device to pick up the images corresponding to the hitting speed detected by the hitting speed detecting means, a hitting condition operating means 11 for taking the hitting speed information and the ball image information, and determining the ball flying direction, the carry and the like by the operation on the basis of the speed and rotation of the ball, and an output means for outputting a result of the operation.
