To provide a hitch angle sensor capable of adjusting the timing of a steering return operation of towed working equipment according to the preference of a driver.
The hitch angle sensor has a sensor cam 20 rotatably housed in a switch box 18. The sensor cam 20 has a plurality of straight-advancing switch grooves having different groove widths along the circumferential surface of the cam body 22 having a bolt hole passing through it and pairs of right and left turning switch grooves corresponding to the straight-advancing switch grooves. A positioning plate 28 having a plurality of positioning holes corresponding to the straight-advancing switch grooves of the cam body 22 is fitted to the rotating shaft of the sensor cam 20 projecting from the switch box 18 so as not to co-rotate with the rotating shaft. A bolt hole is provided on a horizontal plate surface of an L-shaped draw bar link member 21 having an arm for contact with a draw bar, and the draw bar link member 21 is selectively joined to an arbitrary positioning hole of the positioning plate 28 by a selection bolt. The positioning plate 28 and the draw bar link member 21 are integrally joined by fastening a nut to the spindle bolt of the sensor cam 20 projecting above the draw bar link member 21.
