A stationary part 44 of the hoisting machine is composed of a shaft part 45, a fixed frame 46 formed integrally with the shaft part 45, and a motor stator 47 provided at the fixed frame 46. A rotating part 48 of the hoisting machine is composed of a rotating frame 49 rotatably supported to the shaft part 45 through a bearing 50; a sheave 51 formed integrally with the rotating frame 49, on the opposite side to the fixed frame 46; a motor rotor 52 provided at the outer periphery of the rotating frame 46; and a brake wheel 53 integrally provided at the outer periphery of the rotating frame 46 and provided with a larger diameter than the sheave part 51. The fixed frame 46 is provided with a braking device that brakes abutting on the brake wheel 53.
