A holder comprises a supporting body 21 which has a mounting portion 21c arranged on its one end 21b so as to mount a load 7 and has a fixed portion 21a arranged on its another end 21a so as to be fixed to a body portion 3a of an instrument 2, and a natural frequency changing means 22 added to the supporting body 21 so as to change the natural frequency of the supporting body. By this configuration, even when a vibration having a frequency corresponding to the resonance frequency in one direction is applied to the holder, the resonance does not occur in the other direction. Therefore, the fracture of the supporting body caused by the repeated stress, etc. due to vibrations can be reduced.
