Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for a rolling bearing having a slide surface excellent in slidability even under a condition of oil lubrication, high slide speed and high plane pressure.SOLUTION: In order to hold a rolling body of a rolling bearing used under an oil lubrication environment, a holder for a rolling bearing comprises a cylindrical body having an outer diameter surface 5 and an end surface 7. The cylindrical body is composed of a base material and a slide layer formed on the surface of the base material. The slide layer is a fluorine resin film at least the surface of which is crosslinked. Push-in hardness of the slide layer on the outer diameter surface of the cylindrical body measured by the ISO 14577 method is made larger than push-in hardnesses of the slide layer on both end surfaces of the cylindrical body, and the push-in hardnesses of both end surfaces are substantially identical to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
