Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding structure of a spare tire which can increase an anti-theft function without causing occurence of deterioration of a material yield and a workability during assembling.SOLUTION: A holding structure of a spare tire includes a carrier 1 in which pivotal parts 5e are formed at both ends 5a of a carrier body 5. In the holding structure, a large diameter part 5f, which has a shaft diameter larger than that of the pivotal part 5e, is formed at an end of each of the pivotal parts 5e of the carrier body 5, and a long hole-shaped slit 10d, which has an open width W for permission of passage of the pivotal part 5e, is formed in each bracket 10. A widened part 10f, into which the large diameter part 5f can be inserted, is formed on one end 10d' side of the slit 10d, and the other end 10d" side of the slit 10d is so formed as to be coincident to a pivot position A when viewed in the state that the carrier body 5 is mounted to a vehicle body 3.
