To provide a hole cutter enabling chips to be efficiently collected by preventing scattering of the chips.
A plurality of blade tips are arranged side by side at an outer periphery of an end of a blade cylinder 3 at intervals between each tip in a relative rotation direction, and a suction hole 8 is provided which communicates with a chip collection chamber 4 in the blade cylinder 3. Each blade tip includes a front cutting blade extending radially on a relative rotational direction side out of both sides in the relative rotational direction, an inner lateral cutting blade disposed radially inside and extending along a direction of a relative rotational center line 1a, an outer lateral cutting blade disposed radially outside and extending along the direction of the relative rotational center line 1a, and a cutting face including the front cutting blade, inner lateral cutting blade, and outer lateral cutting blade. The front cutting blade side of the cutting face has a cutting angle tilted to a relative rotational direction side and the outer lateral cutting blade side of the cutting face has a tilt angle tilted to the relative rotational direction side. Chips are guided into the chip collection chamber 4 in the blade cylinder 3 by the cutting angle and tilt angle. The chips having entered the chip collection chamber 4 of the blade cylinder 3 are collected through a suction hole 8. The blade cylinder 3 is used also as a chip scatter preventing cover.
