Title:
HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANE FOR BLOOD PURIFICATION WHICH IS EXCELLENT IN WORKABILITY FOR MODULE ASSEMBLY, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011024708
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a hollow fiber membrane for blood purification where the manufacture of the hollow fiber membranes as modules has a high yield.
The hollow fiber membrane for blood purification has an inner diameter of 100 to 300 μm, an average membrane thickness of 10 to 50 μm, and has glycerol filled up in its fine pores. When the hollow fiber membrane is in dry conditions and is measured by an atomic force microscope, the average surface roughness of its external surface (Ra value) is 10 nm or below.
