A hollow fiber membrane module for water treatment comprises: a plurality of hollow fiber membranes 12 extended in a longitudinal direction; a case 10 housing the hollow fiber membranes 12; a first pipe port 2c provided at the case 10 and in communication with a hollow fiber membrane 12 outside space; second pipe ports 2a, 2b provided at other portions of the case 10 and in communication with hollow fiber membranes 12 inside spaces at both ends of the hollow fiber membrane 12; and a rotor 13 having an axis 13a in the same direction as the extension direction of the hollow fiber membrane 12 and physically approaching end faces of the hollow fiber membranes 12 to block some of the plurality of hollow fiber membranes 12.
