Abstract:

To provide a hollow resin molded object having a hollow part having a desired size and shape and excellent in impact resistance, a molded object for interior and exterior parts of a car using the same and a method for manufacturing the hollow resin molded object to which a resin sheet is not fusion- bonded at the time of formation of the hollow part.

The hollow resin molded object comprises a thermoplastic resin and has the hollow part and a fusion-bonding preventing material is arranged to the inner wall thereof. The molded object for the interior or exterior parts of the car is obtained using this hollow resin molded object. Two thermoplastic resin sheets 10 and 11 are arranged so that the inner wall forming surfaces of them are opposed to each other and softened under heating to ensure a space between both sheets. Then, the peripheral edges of the sheets are bonded under pressure and the hollow part is formed by a space adjusting means 7.
