Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hollow-structure material having excellent compression strength, shape stability, precision filtration performance, etc., and usable as industrial materials such as filter for fluid such as water and air or a base for various reinforcing materials.
CONSTITUTION: The hollow material has a pressure resistance of ≤0.1kg/cm2 and is composed of plural synthetic fiber yarns arranged in spiral states turning right and left directions. It can be produced by forming a hollow-structure with yarns containing ≥30wt.% of filaments having a boiling water-shrinkage of ≥20% and a maximum thermal stress of 0.4g/d and heat-treating the formed hollow structure.
