PURPOSE: To eliminate generation of a bandlike irregular part on a hologram layer by providing a release roller for movably supporting a card at a position of a shorter interval than a longitudinal length of the card of a card conveying downstream side from a pair of upper and lower supporting rollers.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of supporting rollers 13, 13 for holding a card 2 in an adhered state at a transfer film 63 are disposed at positions of a longer distance L1 than a longitudinal length L2 of the card 2 from a contact position Cp1 of a heat roller 11 with a press roller 12, and a release roller 16 for supporting the card 2 against a force for releasing the film 63 from the card 2 is provided at a position Cp3 of a shorter interval L3 than the longitudinal length of the card 2 from the rollers. Accordingly, since a resistance force is not operated at an end of the card 2 during steps of starting transferring to completing due to heating and pressurizing of the card 2 and the film 63, applied pressures and rotary force of the rollers 11, 12 are uniformly applied during the transferring step, and no unevenness occurs in an adhered state of the card and the film, and hence generation of a discontinuous bandlike state of the layer H is prevented.
