PURPOSE: To designate one at plural extension telephone sets at the time of sending a message from a telephone line to an extension telephone set in a home bus system to record it.

CONSTITUTION: A voice recording and reproducing device 6 connected to a home bus cable 5 of the home bus system records the message from the telephone line, and a memory area for this recording corresponds to a designated extension telephone set 4. The presence of the message is displayed on the display part of the designated extension telephone set 4. When this display is seen to send a reproducing command from this extension telephone set 4 to the voice recording and reproducing device 6, the message is reproduced and heard by the extension telephone set 4.
