PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home electric appliance system capable of improving convenience.SOLUTION: A home electric appliance system includes: an air conditioner 10 having an indoor unit 20 and an outdoor unit 30, and for performing air conditioning indoors; and a washing machine 50 for performing washing of laundry. The air conditioner 10 has a communication part 28 for performing bidirectional communication with the washing machine 50, and the washing machine 50 has a communication part 82 for performing bidirectional communication with the air conditioner 10.
