Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device capable of completing the home position check processing of a rear group lens in a short time in the case of driving the rear group lens of a two-group type zoom device by a stepping motor.
CONSTITUTION: Whether or not the rear group lens 28 of the zoom device 2 is arranged at a home position is detected from the time when the rear group lens reaches a specified position before the home position; and only the movement of the rear group lens to the home position is performed before that time. Therefore, processing time is shortened in comparison with the conventional manner in which the home position check for the rear group lens is repeated from the time immediately after starting the movement of the rear group lens.
