To provide a home robot control system capable of minimizing the processing load of a robot itself and robot manufacturing cost.
This home robot control system uses a home server. If an user gives a voice command to a home robot, the home robot A/D converts the voice command simply and transmits it to the home server. The voice command is analyzed at the home server and the response corresponding to the voice command is generated as sound and is transmitted to the home robot. The home robot thus regenerates the sound transmitted from the home server through a speaker. The work for demanding processing of large capacity, which could not be realized by even an expensive robot sufficiently, can be realized by a low price robot. Since hardware for the robot is not necessary to be exchanged even if service is upgraded, high class service can continuously be realized.
