PURPOSE: To confirm connection without going to an installing place by displaying data read out from a memory to a telephone set equipped with a display device by a control means when a confirmation signal is applied after connecting the telephone set to a main unit.
CONSTITUTION: When ten keys 5f of a telephone set 5 with a liquid crystal display part after completing the connecting construction of all the telephone sets 5-10 in the system, the confirmation signal is applied to a CPU 1c of a main unit 1. Based on the confirmation signal, the CPU 1c reads out data stored in a RAM 1d and trabsmits them to a CPU 5b of the telephone set 5. At such a time, the data for each connected telephone set is calculated, transmitted to a display part 5e and successively displayed. Therefore, when all the numbers of the telephone sets are displayed, the connection is not missed and when the number is missed, the telephone set is not connected. Thus, the connection can be confirmed without going to the palace of installing the telephone set.
