Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title polymer with a controlled molecular weight distribution at good efficiency by polymerizing a 1-olefin with the aid of a catalyst prepared by reacting an Mg alkoxide dispersion with various compounds of many transition metals and reacting the product with a chlorine-containing organoaluminum compound.
CONSTITUTION: The purpose polymer with a controlled molecular weight distribution is obtained in high yields by polymerizing a 1-olefin represented by the formula: R1CH=CH2 (R1 is H or a 1-10C alkyl) at a temperature of 20-200°C under a pressure of 0.5-50 bar in a suspension, a solution or a gas phase.
