Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a homogeneous polymer alloy which contains a sulfonated arom. polyetherketone and a completely arom. polyamide, is excellent in mechanical properties and hydrophilicity, and is useful for molded articles, film, fibers, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This polymer alloy contains a sulfonated arom. polyetherketone (A) in an amt. of pref. 1-99 wt.%, a completely arom. polyamide (B) in an amt. of 1-99 wt.%, and a poly-N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (C) having a wt. average mol.wt. of 1,000-3,000,000 in an amt. of pref. 0.1-30 wt.%.
