To provide a honeycomb core stretching device which is capable of shortening time required for a preparation work for a stretching operation and improving an operating efficiency and at the same time, improving productiv ity at a high yield and a low cost.

The figure 1 is a laminated block and 2 is a block main body. A honeycomb core is manufacture by pulling both ends in the laminating direction, i.e., both ends 2a, 2b in the stretching direction of the block main body, at a specified interval in the width direction using this honeycomb core stretching device. That is, the stretching device gripping the width direction of the block main body 2 at a specified interval is constituted of a pair of expandable scissors-type holding means 11 with an engaging part 10 for engaging both ends in the stretching direction of the block main body 2 provided at the tips of the means 11 and a pulling means 12 such as an air cylinder connected to the rear end of each of the paired holding means 11.
