Abstract:
To provide a honeycomb filter capable of improving collection efficiency of micro-particles while reducing the coefficient of thermal expansion.
The honeycomb filter 100 is constituted of a porous ceramic containing aluminum titanate and has a plurality of flow paths 110a, 110b which are separated by partition walls 112 and are in parallel with each other. One end of the flow path 110a is sealed by a sealing part 114 in one end surface 100a and the other end of the flow path 110b is sealed by the sealing part 114 in the other end surface 100b. The average pore diameter of the partition wall 112 is ≥10 μm and porosity of the partition wall 112 is 30-50 vol.%.
